1. Job Overview:

• To design and develop test automation for automotive embedded electronics.

2. Principle Accountability

• Development of test libraries with NI labview to drive modular equipment( CANoe etc).

• Provide script templates( NI Teststand ) for customer applications.

• Software configuration management.

• Documentation creation for test bench development.

• Provide weekly reports, monthly reports and project status reports to customers/supervisor.

• Maintain positive external and internal customer satisfaction

- Monitor quality systems

- Compliance to CMM.

- Share product knowledge across business unit.

- Seek periodic feedbacks.

- Address quality issues and derive improvement plans.

• Be a good team player.

• Initiative and ownership

- Take initiative

- Understand and deliver on the responsibility (self, functions, business units and customers)

• Follow ArvinMeritor tools and Best Practices

- “EI” & “CI” and SDP

• Manage the responsibilities as delegated by supervisor.

3. Education / Experience
• Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Science (Electronics/ Instrumentation).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in National Instruments Teststand and Labview for test automation development.

• Experience in CANoe tool.

• Should be able to create test templates.

• Should be able to develop software low level layers

• Electrical interface experience will be an advantage.

• Have an understanding of hardware schematics.

• Should be able to plan and monitor the progress of the activities.

• Good communication skills
